Renee Tyer-Goodwin and I, met in 2020, through the Born to Read program at UT Tyler. As Program Coordinator for the K-16 Literacy Center, I was looking for ways to connect with local authors during COVID. Renee and I quickly became friends and in no time at all, we were working alongside each other as Team GG. We shared a passion for Early Childhood Literacy and a passion for helping families in our communities.
